STOP LOG GATES

Stop Log Gates manufactured by JAPS Project are modular in nature, providing operators of gated structures the ability to control water levels in a channel by adding or removing individual stop logs. A gate can use one or more logs, with each log being lowered horizontally into a space or bay between two grooved piers, referred to as a stop log check. In larger gate structures, multiple bays can be used to better control the discharge through the structure.

Stop Log Gates are primarily used for isolation duties in open channels. The stop logs can be single pieces stacked together to achieve the desired total height, allowing precise control over water flow and ensuring efficient operation of the gated system.
